I am swooning over this Stockholm apartment. The calming monochrome with just the right touch of blue and cognac helps set the mood. Although I've always played it safe with buying furniture in shades of neutral greys, lately I find myself drawn to sofas with colour. I'm crushing on the blue sofa in this apartment. The cognac leather daybed is also calling out to me. Can't help but notice the clean lines of the furniture, frames and light fixtures that echo throughout the home which is softened by some circular elements such as the light bulbs, vases, and other decorative items. I love the use of Ikea Vittsjö shelves and coffee tables here. The glass shelf is taken out of the one units to allow for a framed photo- so clever. Speaking of photos- that collection! Although the apartment is mostly monochromatic, blue elements throughout such as the sofa, bed linen, and carpet help to add depth to the apartment. Oh, and I love a place with lots of greenery just makes it all so homey don't you think?
