I have always loved the mix of traditional and modern in a home. This turn-of-the-century apartment in Stockholm does that look masterfully. The magnificent chandelier and that grand gilded mirror in the bedroom not to mention the traditional furniture pieces just give this space an air of sophistication. Tempered with the modern and more streamlined elements of other furnishings such as the living room hutch, which I adore. There is also a mix in the artwork and decorative objects. With some beautiful paintings in the sitting room while the living room has more modern Vee Speers prints on the wall. It just all meshes so beautifully. With white floors and walls and a restraint of furnishings and decor, the home has a lovely airy feeling. And how about that beautiful blue wallpaper in the bedroom? The home just looks so comfortable. What do you think? Do you love this mix?
