If you have been following my blog or Instagram, you probably know that I absolutely love that Nordic mix of vintage and modern. For me, it's an essential element for Scandinavian style. This home located in the trendy Vesterbro area of Copenhagen has that Nordic mix perfected. It's the home of Danish fashion designer Heidi Hofmann and you can see her fashion sense comes through well in her home style.
This is a carefully considered and curated home full of selected vintage items that help create a home with personality. That gorgeous iconic Tulip Table by Saarinen and that Murano hand-blown glass light that hangs above it is pure perfection. The apartment has a wonderful collection of prints and I spot a few vintage pieces by ceramicist Nils Thorsson scattered about. Some of the items have been handed down but most others have been sourced second hand from various places home and abroad. How amazing that each piece holds a story. My favourite homes are ones that cannot be copied but they can certainly inspire. Enjoy!
