COSY SCANDI CABIN

What a cosy place to hold up in over the winter! A little difficult to reach, on steep terrain, this cabin in the Norwegian woods is the perfect place to embrace the snowy months. Outside the winter is silent and frozen but inside it's crowded with warmth and cosy. The wooden walls, floors and ceilings keep things rustic and warm but with just the right touch of modern elements there is a balance that sits so well. The challenge to the architects was to provide space that works for both pleasant companionship and the silent withdrawal. Challenge accomplished! My favourite spot is the dining room with the open fire next to the huge window. Can you imagine christmas here? I know there is lots to do outside.... but I just want to cosy up by the fire. What is your favourite thing about this cabin?
