Add a touch of traditional Swedish craftsmanship to your daily routine with this handcrafted bath brush made with carefully selected horsehair from Stockholm-based Iris Hantverk. An excellent material for bath brushes, horse hair is durable and sturdy yet still soft and pliable with some elasticity.
Since the late 1800s, visually impaired craftsmen have been making brushes by hand, attaching individual bundles of carefully selected horse hair bristles to extra long handles of oiled birch. The bristles lather up exceptionally well and are wonderful exfoliants.
As in the "old days", the idea that you make something that lasts is still standard form at Iris Hantverk. These brushes are made to age beautifully.

GOOD TO KNOW:
To care for your brush, make sure the to let the brush dry by hanging or with the bristles standing down to avoid water from resting on the wood. Occasionally oil the wooden handle with mineral oil when needed.
