Umanoff Pendant Lamp

Designed by Arthur Umanoff in the 1950s, this iconic brass pendant lamp, relaunched by the Danish design house Menu, reflects the design ideals rooted in the past but very much still relevant today and well into the future. The intriguing combination of the brushed brass with the warm walnut exemplifies the dedication to detail and experimentation that helped define the MCM design movement.

Not intended to light up the room, the Umanoff Pendant emits a soft glow that is focused downward, illuminating the surface below as well as dispersing light through the perforated shade creating a softer more ambient light that helps create a cosy atmosphere.  With its classic design and soft minimalist style, this lamp will fit into any home decor and can easily be passed down through generations.
